Gigabyte Gaming A16 Pro 16" 165 Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core 7 240H - RTX 5070 Ti 12 GB - 32 GB DDR5 - 1 TB SSD - Windows 11

The Gigabyte Gaming A16 Pro (ref. DXHG4FRCC4SH) is the high-end model in our selection of 16-inch laptops. It steps up in every aspect: Intel Core 7 240H processor (10 cores, up to 5.2 GHz), GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop 12 GB GDDR7 graphics card (Blackwell architecture, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation), 32 GB LPDDR5X, and above all, a 16" WQXGA 2560 × 1600 IPS panel at 165 Hz, 400 nits, covering 100% of the sRGB space. 1 TB SSD and Windows 11 Home pre-installed.

What it's really for

This is the only model in the range designed for gaming at higher than Full HD resolution on its own screen: at 2560 × 1600, the RTX 5070 Ti and its 12 GB of video memory allow you to push settings and textures without hitting the 8 GB limit, and DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation helps exploit the 165 Hz on the most demanding titles, including ray tracing. The 100% sRGB panel at 400 nits also makes it a true mobile creative tool: 4K video editing, light color grading, photo retouching, 3D rendering, with 32 GB of memory to keep several heavy applications open. The MUX switch connects the screen directly to the Nvidia card for the lowest possible latency.

What you need to know before buying

The LPDDR5X memory is soldered: the 32 GB is fixed at purchase, but it is amply sized for gaming and creation. Storage, however, remains upgradeable thanks to the two M.2 slots. The chassis remains thin (less than 23 mm) and the weight close to 2.3 kg, which is contained for a 16-inch WQXGA equipped with an RTX 5070 Ti. The infrared webcam allows unlocking Windows by facial recognition, practical for professional use.
