What the RTX 5050 8GB changes

The RTX 5050 sits just above the RTX 3050 6GB in our entry-level range, with 8GB of video memory and the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. In practical terms: more headroom for textures in recent games, access to DLSS 4 and frame generation on supported titles, ray tracing, and NVIDIA Reflex for latency in competitive gaming. It remains power-efficient, which allows it to run reliably on a 550W 80 Plus Bronze power supply, and it keeps the processor cool in a case as well-ventilated as the Cloud Q.

The i5-12400F provides a bit more headroom than the Ryzen 5 5500 for simulations and compute-heavy games, and the Intel B760 platform leaves room to upgrade later to an i5-13400F or i5-14400F without changing the motherboard.
