Prime Day 2026: RTX 5060 Ti drops below €280
Prime Day 2026 is taking place from June 23 to 26, and it comes at a unique moment: the components market is going through a period of marked price increases, driven by memory shortages. In this context, seeing a recent graphics card drop by several dozen euros is anything but trivial. That is exactly what is happening with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, one of the most sought-after GPUs for 1080p and 1440p gaming.
The deal of the moment
Two offers stand out during this edition of Prime Day. The first concerns the MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB Ventus 2X OC Plus, listed at €279.90 instead of €319 for Prime members, with a €25 Steam coupon offered on select models. The second is for the MSI RTX 5060 Ti 8GB Gaming Trio OC, which has dropped to €309 from a reference price of €505.
Stocks are moving fast: Amazon indicated that more than 30% of the quantities had already been sold at the beginning of the event. If you are eyeing this model, it is better not to wait too long for the end of the promotional window.
Why this card ticks the right boxes
The RTX 5060 Ti is based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. It features 8GB of GDDR7 memory, DLSS 4, and the latest generation of dedicated ray tracing cores. On paper, it is a card tailored for 1080p at high settings and is perfectly comfortable in 1440p once DLSS is enabled on recent titles.
A few points to keep in mind before buying:
- Video memory: the 8GB version is suitable for the majority of games in 1080p. For 1440p that is very texture-intensive, a 16GB version offers more headroom, but at a higher price.
- Power supply: plan for a quality power supply unit of about 550W to remain stress-free.
- Compatibility: the card installs on a standard PCIe x16 slot and works just as well on an AMD AM5 platform as it does on an Intel LGA1700 one.
Individual component or pre-built PC?
Buying a GPU on sale is a good idea if you already know how to integrate it into a coherent setup: suitable processor, sufficient power supply, proper cooling. A fast card throttled by an inadequate processor or a subpar power supply will not provide the expected results.
If you prefer to avoid the headache of assembly and compatibility, DSGate offers gaming configurations assembled in France, tested and ready to use, built around this range of graphics cards. The balance between the processor, memory, and GPU is pre-designed to avoid bottlenecks.
Key takeaways
In a market where prices rise more often than they fall, an RTX 5060 Ti under €280 remains a window to watch during Prime Day. Carefully check the exact model, the seller, and the presence of the coupon before confirming your cart, and ensure that the rest of your configuration can keep up.
