Barrettes RAM DDR5 Corsair Vengeance 32 Go - bon plan mémoire PC gaming

Great RAM deal: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 6000MHz for €339.99

If you've been planning to build or upgrade a PC to DDR5 in recent weeks, you've probably had an unpleasant surprise when checking RAM prices. Since September 2025, DDR5 has seen a spectacular increase — some models have almost tripled. In this tense context, finding a 32GB 6000MHz kit at a reasonable price is almost an achievement. However, this weekend, the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2 x 16GB) 6000MHz CL36 kit is available for €339.99 on Amazon France. We'll explain why it's worth a look.

The context: why DDR5 is so expensive in 2026

Before talking about the kit itself, a quick word about the market. Since autumn 2025, several factors have caused RAM prices to skyrocket: tensions in DRAM chip supply, explosive demand from AI-related data centers, and manufacturers' preference for HBM used by professional GPUs. As a result, DDR5 has increased by approximately +292% since September 2025, according to several specialized websites.

Specifically, a 32GB 6000MHz kit that traded for around €110 to €130 at the end of 2024 was flirting with €500 at the beginning of 2026. The situation has eased slightly since February, but we are still far from pre-crisis prices.

The Corsair Vengeance 32GB 6000MHz CL36 kit in detail

The kit on promotion is one of Corsair's bestsellers for DDR5, and for good reasons. Here are the key features:

  • Capacity: 32GB dual-channel kit (2 x 16GB)
  • Frequency: 6000 MT/s (the sweet spot for AM5 platforms)
  • CAS Latency: CL36 (CAS 36-38-38-76)
  • Voltage: 1.35 V
  • Profile: XMP 3.0 and EXPO for 1-click activation in BIOS
  • Height: 34 mm — compatible with most tower CPU coolers
  • Warranty: Lifetime with Corsair

The non-RGB profile is deliberately highlighted here. In this price segment, paying extra for lighting is pointless if you are building a PC focused on raw performance or if your case doesn't have a window.

Who is this kit for?

The 32GB 6000MHz CL36 is now the recommended standard for two types of platforms:

AMD AM5 Platform (Ryzen 7000 / 8000 / 9000)

On AM5, DDR5 is mandatory (the platform does not support DDR4). 6000MHz is the reference frequency: this is where the AMD memory controller's Infinity Fabric operates in 1:1 mode, which maximizes real performance. Going higher in MHz is often counterproductive as long as you stay with consumer CPUs.

Intel LGA1851 Platform (Core Ultra Series 2)

On the latest Intel motherboards, DDR5 is also the norm. Intel CPUs are more tolerant of high frequencies, but 6000MHz remains an excellent price/performance compromise.

Special case: if you are still on AM4 or Intel LGA1700

If you have a Ryzen 5500, 5600GT, 5700X, or an Intel Core 12th / 13th / 14th generation on a DDR4 motherboard, this kit is not compatible. You must stick to DDR4. On this point, a useful reminder: changing RAM often means also changing the CPU and motherboard. Do not force an isolated upgrade.

Our verdict for this weekend

At €339.99, we are far from the golden prices of late 2024, but in the current context, it is one of the most attractive prices for a 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 kit from a reliable brand. If you are building an AM5 configuration or were waiting for the right time to upgrade from 16GB to 32GB, this is probably a window of opportunity to seize before prices rise again — many industry analysts do not foresee a significant drop before the end of 2026.

A quick tip before clicking: verify that your motherboard is compatible (consult the QVL — Qualified Vendor List — on the manufacturer's website), and activate the EXPO or XMP profile in the BIOS after installation, otherwise your kit will operate at the default frequency of 4800MHz and you will lose all the benefit of the purchase.

What about DSGate?

All our gaming configurations based on Ryzen 7 7700X already include a DDR5 6000MHz CL36 kit of this type, assembled, tested, and guaranteed. If you prefer a complete PC assembled in France rather than managing the assembly yourself, check out our gaming PC catalog — most AM5 configurations are already calibrated with this frequency and latency.

Have a great weekend, and happy building!
