Gigabyte Gaming A16 16" 165 Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i7-13620H - RTX 5050 8 GB - 16 GB DDR5 - 1 TB SSD - Windows 11

The Gigabyte Gaming A16 (ref. CTHI3FR894SH) is the gateway to the GeForce RTX 50 generation with a 10-core processor: an Intel Core i7-13620H supported by a GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop 8 GB GDDR7 (Blackwell architecture, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation), all behind a 16" WUXGA 1920 × 1200 IPS 165 Hz panel. With its 1 TB SSD and pre-installed Windows 11 Home, it's ready to play right out of the box.

What it's really for

The RTX 5050 Laptop is aimed at gaming at 1920 × 1200 on the integrated screen. Competitive titles (Valorant, CS2, Fortnite, League of Legends) utilize the 165 Hz without difficulty; for recent demanding single-player games, you play at medium to high settings by enabling DLSS 4, which reconstructs the image and generates additional frames to maintain fluidity. The 8 GB of video memory means you shouldn't push textures to the maximum on the most demanding productions. The Core i7-13620H, with its 10 cores, provides real headroom for multitasking, light streaming, intensive office work, and creative tasks: Full HD video editing, photo retouching, development. This is the model to choose if the processor is as important as the graphics card for your use.
