What is it for?
The M6-IV Cloud Q is primarily aimed at the 1080p gamer. At this resolution, the RTX 5060 has the necessary headroom to run recent games in high quality, and it benefits from Nvidia's upscaling technologies to gain fluidity in demanding titles.
The Core i5-12400F, with its six cores, keeps up without difficulty for gaming and remains comfortable for daily use: web browsing, office tasks, and multimedia playback. It is a versatile configuration that is not limited to entertainment.
Key strengths
- Processor/graphics card balance: no component bottlenecks the other at 1080p.
- Generous storage: 1 TB to install multiple games without restriction.
- Ready to use: assembled in France, tested, and delivered with Windows 11 installed.
- Upgradeable: possibility to add more memory or storage later on.
Limitations to consider
Like any targeted configuration, the M6-IV Cloud Q has a scope. The 8 GB of video memory on the RTX 5060 is suitable for 1080p, but to sustainably aim for 1440p with high textures, a card with more memory would be more appropriate. Likewise, DDR4 is a sensible economic choice at this price point, without chasing the maximum bandwidth of a DDR5 platform.
Our conclusion
The DSGate M6-IV Cloud Q fulfills its mission: to offer a smooth 1080p gaming experience at an affordable price, in a balanced and ready-to-use package. It is a coherent entry point for anyone who wants to play seriously without aiming for 4K. 1440p-oriented gamers should look toward the higher-end configurations in the range.
